We start from the Marina of Rethymno and ride along the beach road, enjoying the sea and the lively atmosphere of the town. We also pass through the area of the New Town, so visitors can see a more everyday side of Rethymno, beyond the usual tourist spots.
The most important part of the route is the Old Town of Rethymno, where the most historic and characteristic part of the city is found. There, we pass by the Venetian Harbour with the Egyptian Lighthouse, the Rimondi Fountain, the Neratze Mosque, the Catholic Church of Saint Francis, the Guora Gate, the Loggia, Arkadiou Street, and of course the Fortezza Castle, which rises above the Cretan Sea.
During the route, the guide gives information about the history of the city, its main monuments, and the most important points of interest along the tour. It is a ride that combines light exercise with fun and is ideal for families with children, couples, solo travelers, and groups.
