Potamon Dam Guided E-Bike Tour
The Potamon Dam Guided E-Bike Tour is a very enjoyable route for those who want to discover beautiful parts of the Rethymno area in an easy and pleasant way. We start from Rethymno and first pass through Perivolia, gradually leaving the town behind. From there, we ride uphill towards Prasies, following the provincial road and a very beautiful route through the villages of the area. The village of Prasies lies at around 350 meters altitude, and then we continue through the Prasiano Gorge. During this part of the route, we ride south of Mount Vrysinas, which reaches 858 meters.
The route ends at Potamon Dam, where a beautiful lake has been formed, creating a landscape very different from what you usually find near the town. There, we have time for a walk by the lake, to enjoy the area and make a stop for rest and a treat. During the tour, the guide gives information about the area, the villages, and the points we pass along the route.
